This is a stunning dress for younger - or indeed young at heart - and confident brides. It shows a lot of skin so requires a certain level of bravery and/or body confidence to carry it off to it’s full potential. ( I suggest this style is best suited to the small chested to avoid the “cleavage or legs” rule.)
This dress will make an impact - it is sexy and cute, ideal for civil ceremonies and wedding parties. The silk fabric and gathering detail is undeniably feminine whilst the statement balloon sleeves create a fashionable and noticeable silhouette without being too overwhelming.
Paired here with contemporary pearl earrings and co-ordinating bracelet, I have left the deep V neckline clear of jewels for a clean line, however you can swap the earrings out for a pendant necklace if preferred. A delicate hair clasp is all that’s needed - or a low ponytail tied loosely with ribbon - to allow the dress to remain the focal point. I have selected a pretty, leg lengthening heeled sandal and a flirty, ruffled silk brief to complete the look.
NOTE Use fashion tape to secure the neckline and go braless if you can -nipple covers optional. Try tape or adhesive bra supports from the likes of Fashion Forms.
